How to Change Your Password Using Self-Service (Okta Portal)

Step 1: Access the Okta Login Portal

  1. Open your web browser and go to GoHealth Okta Portal.

  1. Click on your profile name in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  1. Click on the Edit Profile button.
  2. You will be prompted to enter your current Okta password for security verification.
  3. If Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is enabled, complete the authentication process (e.g., Okta Verify, SMS, or another registered method).

Step 4: Locate the Change Password Section

  1. Scroll down to the Change Password section.
  2. Review the password requirements before proceeding:
    • At least 10 characters long.
    • Must include uppercase, lowercase, and a number.
    • Cannot include your username or first name.
    • Must be different from your last three passwords.
    • You must wait at least 5 days between password changes.

Step 5: Enter and Confirm Your New Password

  1. Type your current password in the first field.
  2. Enter your new password in the second field.
  3. Re-enter the new password to confirm.
  4. (Optional) Check the box to sign out of all other devices for added security.

Step 6: Save and Apply the Changes

  1. Click the Change Password button.
  2. You will see a confirmation message once the password is updated.
  3. If prompted, log in again with your new password.

Q: What if I forgot my current password?
A: Click on the Forgot Password? link on the Okta login page and follow the recovery steps.

Q: Why is my new password not accepted?
A: Ensure you follow the password policy, including length and complexity rules.

Q: Will changing my password sign me out of all my devices?

A: If you check the box for sign out of all other devices, you will need to log in again on all devices.
