How to Request a Google Chrome extension or plugin

Summary:

This article will teach you how to request a new Google Chrome extension!

 

Troubleshooting Steps: 

  • First you can check if the Chrome extension has already been approved by going to the Chrome Web Store and searching for the extension. If it's been approved you will be allowed to install it! 
  • If you are unable to download the Chrome extension from extension's Web Store page you can request it by following these steps.

  • First, select the Request button as shown in the picture below.

  • You will receive a Pop-up window that will notify you what the extension can do. Select Send to officially send your request to the IT department for review.

  • Once you have completed these steps, please open an IT ticket in Zendesk for tracking and communication!
